PSALM 37:39-40
The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for my spiritual salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. You are my righteousness, my stronghold, my refuge. I need You not only for my spiritual salvation, but also for the emotional, physical and financial. I deeply need You to deliver me from inner troubles, real and imagined, that only You can see and understand. Be my stronghold from those hurts and fears that assail my heart daily. They often would overwhelm my spirit if not for Your sustaining presence in my soul. I know you are my deliverance.
